Ballybofey United not getting carried away

BALLYBOFEY United manager PH Bonar isn’t counting their chickens yet despite promotion being within touching distance.

The Dreenan men have 11 wins and one draw in Division Two so far and are currently four points ahead of Lifford, but the border side are appealing a decision that overturned the result of their opening day win over Whitestrand, as Lifford are alleged to have fielded an ineligible player.

Bonar’s side could confirm a top two spot with six points from their next two games, however those matches are at home against Lifford Celtic and Drumoghill, who are second and third respectively.
