The Million Euro Challenge TV Gameshow is based solely on chance and there is no skill involved. To enter, players must submit a 3-star Million Euro Challenge Scratch Card in a special envelope, available from all National Lottery Retail Sales Agents. Each Tuesday in National Lottery offices, sixty 3-star entries are drawn randomly in a preliminary draw that takes place under strict security controls. From these 60 entries, three players for the following show are drawn and their names are featured on the gameshow. The three lucky players will each be joined by a friend or family member for support and will play the games Crack The Code and Risky Business to win cash prizes. One lucky player will go on to play Million Euro Challenge for the chance to win up to €1 million.

Million Euro Challenge Scratch Card players can also enter a supplementary game, Crack The Code, for the chance to appear on the show and win up to €10,000. To enter, players must register the eight character code on the stub portion of their Million Euro Challenge Scratch Card on the National Lottery’s website lottery.ie.

Each week a code will be generated by players on the gameshow from all valid online entries received and three players who have entered this code will be selected to appear on the show. This week’s biggest Crack The Code winner was John Magee from Co Donegal who won €10,000.
