Ballybofey Artist Veronica Maguire Shows off Stunning Exhibition at the Alley Theatre

DONEGAL artist Veronica Maguire held a ‘Meet and Greet’ this week at the Alley Theatre at her stunning exhibition ‘Captivating Art in Locations and Nature’.

Over 52 beautiful paintings are on display featuring contemporary, landscape and abstracts inspired by nature and the incredible scenery of Donegal.

Veronica works mainly with oils, alcohol inks, and watercolours.

She has always been inspired and drawn to the colours of nature, the ever changing light on the landscape, the reflections, the mountains, the colours of the trees, the movement of the sky and sea and the sparkle of the river and lakes.

She has painted in several art programs in lreland, Northern Ireland, Croatia, Turkey, France, and Austria, experimenting with different mediums and using her intuition and her imagination which is perfectly demonstrated in this exquisite exhibition.

 

‘Captivating Art in Locations and Nature is on display in the Alley Theatre Gallery until Friday August 4.
