New exhibition opens at RCC


A NEW exhibition which aims to stimulate engagement with the visual arts for the general public and particularly for people with disabilities has just opened at the Regional Cultural Centre, Letterkenny.


Dungloe students do themselves proud


TWO Dungloe Girls did themselves proud at the Youth Entrepreneur of the Year Award 2011 as they as they made the national finals with their hobby turned business.
Niamh Kelly (aged 15) and Orlaith McNulty (aged 15), two very talented youths turned their hobby of baking into a profitable business called ‘Oven Glove Bakery’.


Devenney punches out world record

BALLYBOFEY man Eunan Devenney shattered the world record for consecutively hitting a punchbag at the weekend as he completed a marathon 45 hours and 4 minutes at the bag in the Twin Towns ABC gym on Saturday morning.

RTÉ Raidió na Gaeltachta presenter Rónán Mac Aodha Bhuí can’t help winning, it seems, as he scooped yet another prize at the weekend for his Raidió na Gaeltachta show Rónán Beo @ 3.
