Still lots in store at Earagail Arts


THIS year’s Earagail Arts Festival may be coming to a close on Sunday and following two weeks of top class entertainment there is still lots in store this weekend.

Considering the amazing events that are on over the weekend, you may be tempted to think it was a case of ‘saving the best til last’ at this year’s festival, but you’re far from it.


T With The Maggies guest forced to cancel


Legendary American Country singer John Prine has been forced to cancel his date with four leading ladies of Irish music due to ill health, but T With The Maggies will still perform with their other special guest, Cape Verde singer Mary J Lammond this Saturday as part of Earagail Arts Festival.


Goats still to rock despite Keltic Hooley cancellation


Despite the cancellation of the Keltic Hooley festival this weekend, Goats Don’t Shave don’t want to disappoint all their fans who sent messages by email and Facebook and so they are going to proceed with a full concert and support act on Sunday night, July 10, at the Clanree Hotel – doors open at 8.30pm (Admission €20 at door).

A DONEGAL born organised crime boss has been jailed for four years for running a massive illegal waste in the UK and laundering millions of pounds in profits
