Charlie Bird dies following battle with motor neurone disease
FORMER broadcaster, journalist and campaigner Charlie Bird has died at the age of 74. Mr Bird was diagnosed with motor neurone disease in 2021. His death was confirmed in a statement to RTÉ on Tuesday.
