STUDENTS from ATU Donegal hosted a ‘walkout’ today at the Letterkenny campus.
Participants left their classes and gathered at the front of the building to oppose recent Government decisions.
The protest was held as students believe that Technological Universities haven’t been treated fairly by the Government in the recent budget.

Thousands of students from across various TU campuses joined together at 12pm today to voice their concerns.
This protest was part of a national demonstration held across multiple campuses in the country such as MTU Kerry and ATU Sligo.
Students are calling for purpose built student accommodation, funding of professorships within the TU sector and greater funding for postgraduate programmes.
