ATU Donegal have learned their fate for the first round of the 2025 Sigerson Cup.
Maxi Curran’s side will have a repeat of last season’s Round 2B game against MTU Cork in the first round this time round.
The game will take place on Wednesday, January 8 and will be played at the neutral venue of Abbottstown.
Should the Donegal side win, they will face the winners of TUS Midlands and Maynooth in Round 2A, while if they lose then they will face the losers of that game, which takes place the day before.
ATU Donegal and MTU Cork met in Abbottstown in January of this year and the game went to extra-time as the sides were level at 1-13 to 0-16.
But the Cork side put in a dominant extra 20 minute performance as they won by 3-20 to 1-14 in the end.
