ATU Donegal 2-17 SETU Carlow 1-3
ATU Donegal have been crowned Higher Education Electric Ireland Freshers 2 Champions.
Ryan McHugh’s ATU Donegal ran out comfortable winners against SETU Carlow at the Louth GAA Training Centre in Darver.
ATU Donegal dominated the first half and led by 2-11 to 0-2 at the break. They got off to a brilliant start and Naomh Conaill’s Danny Brown and Ardara’s Eoghan ‘Ban’ McNelis supplied the goals.
The second half was tighter but ATU did hit scores from Naomh Columba’s Shane Callaghan, Killybegs’ Gavin Doherty, Naomh Bríd’s Donal Gallagher, and Glenswilly’s Aiden Friel as they secured the silverware.
