YOUNG people in Donegal are invited to ‘Connect with Nature’ by attending a new exhibition by the Arts Council.
The free public display features a tapestry combining the work of children from five primary schools in the Donegal Gaeltacht.
The tapestry is composed of individual student artworks, which were drawn on seeded paper.
Once the exhibition concludes, the seeds from the paper will be planted to bring bloom to the participating schools.
The tour will feature in Tory Island next week, from March 2 to March 6.

It comes as part of a programme of events for the Arts Council’s Creative February initiative, which encourages children and young people across Ireland to celebrate their creativity.
This year’s theme ‘Connect with Nature’ aims to inspire young people to explore their relationship to the natural world by channelling their imagination and self-expression.
Nature has always been a powerful source of inspiration for creativity and reflection and, as February marks the beginning of spring, this theme will encourage students and school communities to reflect on the changing of the seasons and how creativity can evolve and flourish in our lives, in every class and in every school.
Further online resources are available for all at the Creative February hub on the Arts Council website.
