Gardaí in Letterkenny investigating a number of thefts from vehicles in the Letterkenny district over the weekend have arrested a man.
The thefts occured over Friday, January 19 to Sunday, January 24.
As part of this investigation Gardaí have conducted a search of a premises within the Letterkenny district on the morning of Tuesday.
Further to the search, a male aged in his 30s, has been arrested in connection with the investigation and is currently detained at a Garda Station in the County Donegal area under the provisions of Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act 1984.
Gardaí are issuing a renewed appeal for information, to anyone who may have witnessed any unusual activity or vehicles in the Convoy, Raphoe and Castlefin areas over the weekend of Friday 19th to Sunday 21st January 2024.
