A man in his 20s has been arrested following a search operation at a house near Convoy on Sunday evening, July 23rd. Gardai seized a firearm along with ammunition and arrested the man at the scene. At approximately 6pm Gardaí from the area assisted by the Regional Support Unit searched the house as part of a planned operation. The male was arrested at the scene and taken to Letterkenny Garda station where he is currently detained. The investigation is ongoing.
