A MAN in his 30s has been arrested in connection with the crash in Louth in July which claimed the lives of three Donegal women.
Margaret McGonigle, her daughter Mairead Mundy and friend Rachael Battles from Bruckless lost their lives in the collision on N2 Dublin to Monaghan Road at Aclint.
The arrest was made this morning and the man is being detained at Carrickmacross Garda station in County Monaghan.
