Arranmore RNLI volunteer crew responded to six call outs for assistance to evacuate patients in need of medical attention from the island.
The call outs happened between July 2 to July 17.
Patients are brought to Burtonport on the lifeboat and transferred to a waiting ambulance to complete the journey to Letterkenny University Hospital.
Crew member Jamie Neeson who joined the volunteer crew in December last year said, ‘This is my 22nd call out since joining the crew and I’m learning something new with every call.
“Wishing a speedy recovery to all the people we brought to Burtonport.”
