THE newly-refurbished Ionad an Chrois Bhealaigh Community Centre on Arranmore was officially reopened earlier this month.Over the course of six weeks from April this year, the centre underwent some minor refurbishments, including new toilet facilities and disability friendly access.

The official opening was performed by Ms Anna Ní Ghallachair, a native of the island and Chairperson to the board of Údarás na Gaeltachta.
Refurbishments were completed in timely fashion ahead of the arrival of this summer’s Gaeltacht students who use the facility for classes and ceilís.
