Armstrong fastest over High Glen at start of Day 2

Jon Armstrong and Shane Byrne have made a great start to Day Two of the Donegal International Rally as they were quickest over High Glen.

Armstrong started Friday well before losing time but was more than three seconds quicker than Callum Devine on the opening stage this morning.

Devine and co-driver Noel O’Sullivan still lead by 17.3 seconds.

Hayden Paddon and David Moynihan didn’t have a good stage and dropped three places to fifth after their time was nine seconds slower than Armstrong’s.

Meirion Evans is currently third while William Creighton and Liam Regan are fourth in their Yaris.

In Class 14, Kevin Gallagher and Ryan Moore have extended their lead and were nine seconds better than second placed Martin McCormack/Barney Mitchell over Glen.
