GARDAI have moved to crackdown on a criminal gang in connection with claims of forced labour in Letterkenny.
Heavily armed gardai from the elite Regional Response Unit led the raids at apartments in the Fortwell area this evening.
There were no arrests but items were seized as part of the probe.

It follows an exclusive report in the Donegal News earlier this month that seven men from Eastern Europe were taken into protective custody after it was alleged they were being forced to work for as little as 5 euro per day.
