Armagh 1-9 Donegal 0-12
Donegal and Armagh played out a lively draw in Division 2 of the NFL at the Athletic Grounds this afternoon.
Donegal started well and were 0-3 to 0-1 ahead after 14 minutes.
However, Armagh improved and Andrew Murnin scored a goal as they hit 1-2 without reply.
Donegal struck the last three points of the first half and they were 1-5 to 0-7 down at half-time.
The away side were excellent in the first 15 minutes after the restart and scored three points on the trot.
Armagh had a purple patch after that and drew level before Oisin Gallen saw a penalty saved in the 65th minute.
Rian O’Neill and Shane O’Donnell swapped points in injury-time before Jarly Óg Burns missed a fisted chance to win the game for Armagh.
The match ended in a draw and Donegal are back in action next weekend when they host Louth.
