Ardara got off to a winning start in the championship with a three-point home victory over Aodh Ruadh on Sunday at Pearse Memorial Park.
The hosts were superb in the opening stanza and five points from the boot of Kyle McHugh accompanied by a three-pointer from John Ross Molloy saw them lead by eight at the break.

Their advantaged was stretched to 12 points in the third quarter thanks to a brace of goals from CJ Molloy.
The Ballyshannon men rallied back with scores through Shane McGrath and Eamonn McGrath with Eoghan Kelly finding the net but Ardara held on to secure the two-points.
