Appeal over missing dog in Letterkenny area

THE Donegal Animal Rehabilitation Centre (ARC) has issued an appeal after one of their recently adopted dogs got out of her new home this morning and is now missing.

Roo, a female Lurcher with dark brindle with white on the chest, has been missing from the Ballymacool area of Letterkenny since approximately 8am this morning (Wednesday).

She is wearing a black leather sighthound collar with white padding.

“We are desperately searching for her and as yet to no avail,” said an ARC spokesperson.

“She is a lovely girl but fearful of strangers so we are worried sick what may have happened to her. She was last spotted just after 8am this morning headed towards Charles Kelly Ltd store on the main road.

“She can be skittish with strangers so please don’t approach her but do keep an eye on her location and call us immediately.”

If you have seen Roo please call ARC on 0873741704 or 0749152360.
