Gardaí are appealing for information following a theft at Ards Friary in Creeslough.
A man was taking pictures at the shore and he left his camera on a tripod while he went for a short walk only to discover that it had been stolen upon his return. The items stolen were a Fuji X- T4 camera, 2 Sd media cards, a Manfrotto 700Rc2 Tripod and camera lens.
The incident happened on Friday, October 17 between 12.30pm and 1pm.
A garda spokespersons said: “We appeal to anyone who may have been in or around the grounds of the Friary with a dash-cam on that date between 12pm and 1.30pm, to make the footage available to Gardaí. If anyone can assist with relevant information, they are asked to contact Ballyshannon Garda Station on 071-9858530. Should anyone come across similar type items for sale on a second hand basis, we also ask them to get in touch with us.”
