Antique iron anvil stolen

INFORMATION is sought following a burglary at The Pier in Kincasslagh during which an antique iron anvil was stolen.

The theft of the dark metal anvil from a shed at The Pier occurred sometime between January and this month.

Gardaí have said the shed was unlocked at the time of the burglary.

The anvil in question is very heavy and it would have required a number of people to lift it.

“We ask anybody who may have come across a similar item for sale on a second hand basis over the past few months to please make contact,” a garda spokesperson said.
