“Gardaí are investigating a burglary/criminal damage incident at a premises in Killygordon Donegal that occurred on 9/4/18 at approximately 4:20am. Two males gained entry to a yard and caused extensive damage to a building. Nothing was stolen. Investigations are ongoing,” a spokesperson for An Garda Siochana said.

Fianna Fail Cllr  Patrick McGowan said: “The McCreary family us a long-established family in the area and they only recently opened a new, state-of-the-art premises.

“We are all very annoyed about this. It was only a few months ago that the post office was targeted. We need a more visible Garda presence.”
