Donegal 0-14 Galway 1-12
Donegal fell to a one-point defeat for the second time in seven days, as Declan Bonner’s side lost to Galway in the NFL at O’Donnell Park today.
Patrick McBrearty scored six points for Donegal in the first half, but Eamonn Brannigan’s goal left Galway in front at the break.
HT: Donegal 0-8 Galway 1-7
Donegal got back on level terms midway through the second half, and when Ciaran McGinley fisted over in the 66th minute, it was all to play for.
There was only one more score after that, and it went to Sean Armstrong, and Donegal couldn’t find a leveller at the death.
Bonner’s charges face Dublin in Croke Park next Saturday.
