GARDAI are appealing for information following an aggravated burglary at the home of pensioner in Falcarragh on Thursday night.
The incident occurred at around 11pm at Dunmore where the 69-year-old-man lives.
Four culprits with “local accents” entered a house before escaping with a quantity of cash,a single barrel shotgun and box of cartridges and a mobile phone.
Gardaí are asking to speak to anyone who witnessed any suspicious activity in Falcarragh area, R256 Muckish to Glenveigh / Letterkenny Road last Thursday night into Friday morning, particularly involving four males and a dark coloured car.
