DONEGAL players will be presented with their Ulster Championship and All-Ireland Championship winning medals at the annual Donegal GAA Banquet, which has been confirmed for the Mount Errigal Hotel, Letterkenny on Saturday, December 8th.
A packed house will be expected for the historic night which will see the players presented with the medals earned in retaining the Anglo-Celt Cup with victory over Down in the Ulster final.
Jim McGuinness’s heroes will also be presented with the coveted Celtic Crosses – the medals given to All-Ireland winning players – on the night, on foot of their All-Ireland final win over Mayo last month.
The Anglo-Celt and the Sam Maguire will be in attendance for what will be the best attended banquet in Donegal for 20 years as fans are expected to want to catch a glimpse of the players being officially presented with their medals for a double Championship success.
Tickets for the event will cost €40.
