A number of fundraising events have been organised recently for the RNLI in Donegal.
A recent bucket collection in the Dunfanaghy/Pornablagh area raised just under €1,200 and the organisation has offered thanks to all who contributed.
The John Logue Memorial Angling event will take place on Saturday, August 16. Boats are departing from Kerrykeel with fishing from 12 noon to 4pm. For further details and registrations contact 087 4103292.
On Sheephaven Bay, the weekly Crab Crawls continue every Wednesday evening and proceeds are in aid of the Lifeboats and Sheephaven Sub Aqua Group.
A Sheephaven Point to Pier Challenge Swim will take place on Saturday, August 16 kindly supported by Errigal Training Centre and Letterkenny Credit Union, with all proceeds in aid of the Lifeboats and Donegal Hospice. This event is already fully subscribed.
