Numerous bags of dog waste have been left on top of a bin this afternoon in a Letterkenny park.
The image, shared to us by a reader, shows the bags on top of the bin in Glencar Park, indicating that the bin is full.
However, over the last number of years Donegal County Council has distributed ‘poop scoop’ bags free of charge to the public and promotes the ‘any bag, any bin’ campaign, encouraging dog owners to use any bag and that dog waste can be disposed of in any of the large network of litter bins provided.
