An tSean Bheairic is delighted to announce its upcoming art exhibition, set to take place on Good Friday, April 18, from 7pm to 9pm. The exhibition will serve as a platform to celebrate the remarkable talent nurtured through the art classes conducted by the talented Joe McClafferty. This is a free event.
The event promises to be an evening of creative inspiration, showcasing the diverse array of local talent that has flourished under the guidance of Joe McClafferty. Attendees will have the opportunity to admire and acquire artworks produced by the dedicated participants of his winter art classes, part funded by the Donegal Education and Training Board (ETB).
With so many styles and mediums on display, ranging from vibrant abstract compositions to detailed portraits and breath-taking landscapes, the exhibition is sure to captivate art enthusiasts of all tastes. Oil, watercolour, coloured pencil, and ink are just a few of the mediums that will be featured, highlighting the versatility and skill of the exhibiting artists.
Joe is an accomplished artist who has been drawing and painting for most of his life. He is thrilled to be able to share his talent with budding artists and has been teaching art for many years.
“I am so proud of all of my students and the hard work they have put into their art. This exhibition is a great opportunity for them to showcase their unique styles and creative talents,” he said.
The exhibition will feature the paintings of Seamus Doohan, Francis Russell, Ellenmarie Russell, Ann Walsh, Marie Mc Clafferty, Geraldine O’Brien, Eamon Toye, Donal Mc Gee, Andrea Cox, Charlotte Ferry, Frankie Ferry, Brendan Sweeney, Mai Friel, Christine Morris, John Connaghan, David Gough, Anne High.
Each artist brings their own unique style and creative talent to the exhibition, showcasing a diverse range of media and subject matter.
Refreshments will be served during the exhibition, and visitors will have the opportunity to meet the artists and learn more about their work. This is an event not to be missed by art lovers and enthusiasts alike.
