There was a great turnout for the Letterkenny Gaels annual 5k road race and family fun run on Wednesday night.
Over 150 runners took part, and many more walked around the route on a beautiful evening.
The race was won by Shaun Kerrs in a time of 16:12. In second place was David McKelvey with a time of 16:41.
First female athlete was Bernie Boyle who finished in 18:41. The second female athlete home was Ciara Cunningham with a time of 19:02.
The base for the race was Divers Hyundai Garage and refreshments were provided there afterwards.
Gaels club chairman, Danny Cahill, thanked all who took part and those who volunteered . Race organiser, Paul Walker, announced the individual awards. Overall, it was a brilliant evening for the club, enjoyed by all.
