All-Ireland final victory for Scoil Mhuire Buncrana

Scoil Mhuire Buncrana were victorious thanks to two second half goals in the Dr. Tony O’Neill National Senior Cup final in Sligo.

The Inishowen school were in the Under 19 large schools final against Dublin’s Belvedere College and it was level at the break in a tough fought contest at The Showgrounds.

But Buncrana Hearts player Shaunie Bradley opened the scoring just after the hour mark with a sweet strike after being played in by Conor Graham.

Their lead was doubled with 15 minutes to go when Finn Harps player Darragh Coyle was taken down in the box and Graham stepped up and fired a penalty down the middle.
