COUNTY Registrar for Cavan Mr Joe Smith adjourned 123 of 131 applications for repossession orders from financial institutions when he sat at Letterkenny Court on Tuesday. The other eight cases were struck out.
Mr Smith was responding in part to Ciaran Moyne, a member of the Donegal Land League, who claimed it would be unfair to defendants who received little notification that the court was postponed from Monday until Tuesday.
Mr Smith assured Mr Moyne that no one would be disadvantaged because of the court having to be rescheduled.
