Additional Christmas flights announced on Donegal–Glasgow route

DONEGAL Airport has announced the addition of two extra flights on the Donegal– Glasgow route, operated by Loganair, in time for the festive season. 

The additional services will operate on: Tuesday, December 23 and Tuesday, December 30.

These flights provide extra capacity for families and friends travelling home to Donegal for Christmas or for those planning a New Year trip to Scotland. 

The extra flights come in response to growing demand over the holiday period and offer increased flexibility for passengers, ensuring they can travel conveniently and comfortably during one of the busiest times of the year. 

The Donegal–Glasgow route continues to be a vital link, connecting communities across Ireland and Scotland and supporting both leisure and family travel. Glasgow is a popular destination, particularly in the lead-up to Christmas, offering a vibrant festive atmosphere with Christmas markets, shopping streets, and cultural events.

Friday flights

Effective Friday, January 9, the flight times for the Friday Glasgow to Donegal route will change. The flight will depart Glasgow at 9.10am and arrive in Donegal at 10.10am. The return flight will depart Donegal at 10.40am and arrive in Glasgow at 11.40am. Sunday flight times will remain the same.
