Abbey VS march through to last eight of MacRory Cup

Abbey Vocational School cruised through to the last eight of the MacRory Cup after they got the better of Cathair Doire in Convoy today.

A Theo Colhoun goal helped Abbey into a 1-8 to 0-6 lead at the break.

Cathal Deery had the first say after the restart for Cathair Doire before Kevin Muldoon scored a stunning individual goal for the Abbey in the 38th minute.

That put Stuart McFadden’s men into a commanding position and fine scores from Tomas Carr and Oisin Doherty saw Abbey run out convincing victors.
