LETTERKENNY’S Mark English will make an eleventh-hour bid for selection on the Irish team for the Olympic Games when he runs in Madrid tomorrow evening (Saturday).

The reigning National Champion will compete in the 800m Grand Prix race in the Spanish capital before linking up with the Irish squad at the World Juniors in Barcelona on Sunday.
