Popular DJ, Daithi Ramsay will be playing some tunes at The Central.
ONE year on from his retirement bash, DJ Daithi is dusting down his records by popular demand for a fun night in The Central Nightclub in Letterkenny this Saturday night.
“I just thought it’d be fun, I played on St Stephen’s night and it was a lot of fun and lovely to see many familiar faces and I thought well if we can do it at Christmas time then Easter is the other time when most people return home and we could do it again then.
“On Easter Saturday last year it was really well attended so I hope it is again, it’s like a reunion for people who came dancing when I was playing so everyone ether knows each other or is friends with someone who is friends with. So it’s a really easy going atmosphere.”
As usual Daithi will be playing tunes from the 1930s right up to the latest hits that he likes so it’s a night where you could hear anything and hopefully you’ll hear your favourite tune.
He said: “Obviously there were big tunes for me when I was djing like Blister in the Sun, No Diggity, Superstylin’, Proud Mary and many others, so they’ll all get a turn to get people out on the floor.”
Admission is €5 and doors open at 11pm.
