Since 23 June, Expressway Route 64 (Galway-Letterkenny) service has become wheelchair accessible at some major stops along the route. They are:
- Letterkenny Bus Station
- Ballyshannon
- Sligo Bus Station
- Galway Bus Station
This change will make the Expressway Route 64 service wheelchair accessible between the stations highlighted above and will allow wheelchair users to travel from the West to the North of the country in style on our accessible vehicles.
Andrew Yates, Head of Expressway said: “We are very pleased to announce that several stops on the Expressway Route 64 have become wheelchair accessible from June 23rd. This is part of our commitment to the provision of a fully accessible public transport system, incorporating wheelchair accessible vehicles and improvements to bus services for all our passengers”.
