THREE Letterkenny secondary school teachers were this week honoured with special presentations from their students and staff colleagues to mark their retirement from teaching.
Loreto Letterkenny teachers Imelda Rodgers, Siobhan Gill and Brid Mulhern will retire at the end of this school year.
Their contribution to school life over their careers was celebrated on Tuesday when staff members and Loreto students gathered for a surprise presentation event.

On an emotional day, school principal Gerardine Mullen paid tribute to the three teachers and noted that between them, they had given 91 years of service to the school.
She said the school community will miss them and wished them every joy and blessing in the years ahead.
