These are FREE shows for all to enjoy!

Lorenzo is a policeman in uniform with hat and signal paddle, he wanders ‘incognito’ in the audience spreading disbelief and amazement and then go in a crescendo of acts that combine clowning, juggling and circus arts in a sequence of delirious gags.

Today (Thursday) July 13, 12.30pm to 8pm, Earagail Arts Festival & Donegal County Council Library Service present The Human Library at Central Library.

The Human Library creates a safe space for dialogue where topics are discussed openly between human books and their readers, a place where difficult questions are expected, appreciated and answered.

This event is FREE and books included are Traveller, Non-Binary, Sudanese, Schizophrenia, U.S. Veteran, Queer Feminist, Muslim and Sexual Abuse Survivor.

This evening at 8pm, the festival is delighted to present RTÉ Choice Music Prize (Irish Album of the Year) award-nominated Anna Mieke at the Regional Cultural Centre, Letterkenny.

Artist, animator, and educator John D Ruddy, aka Manny Man, once again helped a group of young people of ethnic minorities (age 11-18) explore and connect with stories from their cultures. They each created an animated short film, using their own voices to tell their own stories and which will have their premiere as part of the festival.

The final results of Fadó Fadó – Stories from All Over will be shown at the Regional Cultural Centre, Letterkenny on Saturday July 15 at 3pm.

The event is FREE (Duration: 27+ minutes; Age Suitability: 12+).

Also on Saturday July 15 at 11pm, Buncrana’s Main Street will be lit up at night-time by the FREE spectacular illuminated, twilight procession, The Seas Above, by LUXE.

The renowned Inishowen-based company has made trailblazing, landscape spectacle internationally for 14 years and continually extends and adapts its collections of sumptuous costume, processional and fire sculpture to make beautiful bespoke shows.
