John Boyle of Leck Cottages, Oldtown is charged with four different counts of assault causing harm. He was also charged with the illegal possession of a knife. Judge Paul Kelly heard there may be other charges arising from the incident.

Inspector Kevin Gately told the court the DPP’s file on the case was almost complete. Judge Kelly adjourned the case until November 17.
