Mr Paul Hannigan, LYIT President, told the Donegal News this week that the application would form part of their larger campus plan.
“We are currently putting together a campus development plan and this will include a planning application to develop our site on the Port Road opposite the main campus,” Mr Hannigan said.
He added that ‘everything is in place’ as regards funding for the new campus, however, Mr Hannigan could not give a time for when building work might start.
