Geese stolen in unusual Letterkenny burglary

A number of geese were stolen during an unusual burglary in Letterkenny.
The six geese were taken along with a consignment of tools from a shed.
The owner of the property keeps geese and six were stolen during the burglary at a property in Coolboy, some time between 8pm and 11pm on Monday, September 27.
Tools including two chainsaws, a hedge trimmer and an axe, which had been inside an unlocked shed, were also stolen.
Anyone who was in the area just past Illistrin on the way from Letterkenny to Kilmacrennan on the night in question with dash cam footage is asked to contact Milford Garda Station on (074) 91 53060 or the Garda Confidential Telephone Line on 1800 666 111.
