Local foes collide in mouth-watering derby

BY AIDAN O’DONNELL
SOMETHING has to give when two of the in-form sides in the Premier Division go head-to-head this weekend in the fascinating tussle for top flight supremacy.

Glenea United, Lifford Celtic and Kilmacrennan Celtic have all occupied top spot in recent weeks and another name could move to the summit at 4 o’clock on Sunday evening.
Rathmullan Celtic welcome current leaders Kilmacrennan to Flagpole Field knowing a win would put them top of the pile at the halfway mark in the season.

The Seasider’s are on course for an unprecedented third straight different league title, following their back-to-back successes in Division Two and Division One in the last two seasons.
