Family members, friends and a host of colleagues from the medical field gathered in Letterkenny’s Silver Tassie Hotel on Saturday night to join with Professor Ken Mulpeter on the occasion of his 70th birthday.

Professor Mulpeter, a Consultant in Geriatric and Internal Medicine at Letterkenny University Hospital, is a hugely respected and highly popular doctor who has given a lifetime of service to medicine in Donegal.

His popularity was underlined by the large number of people who attended Saturday night’s celebration which was a lovely way to mark his special birthday.
