New chapter in thirty year history

Sean Graham Bookmakers, Main Street, Letterkenny

Sean Graham Bookmakers, Main Street, Letterkenny

WHY did Sean Graham Bookmakers move a couple of hundred yards to Letterkenny’s Lower Main Street last week? The question that had been on the lips of many of it’s customers was answered when the doors of the new shop at 15 Lower Main Street opened last week.

We’re one of the longest established bookmaker names in Letterkenny and we have been in the town throughout 30 years during the turbulent economic highs and lows where many bookmakers have come and gone in the town, including big multi-national betting chains.

Yvonne Casey, Shop Manager said an opportunity arose on the Main Street and this has given us the opportunity to improve the betting environment for our customers  with  air conditioning,  comfort seating, large screen displays and free hot drinks for anyone wishing to come and see us.

We service female and male customers alike and to improve our appeal we have widened our range
of betting products to cater for all needs, including virtual horse and dog betting. Lottery betting, in particular, is very popular with our female customers. We pretty much bet on everything including the weather!

We have to continually reinvent our business to stay fresh and appeal to new and loyal customers and we hope we have achieved this with a significant investment at this location. We believe our longevity in Letterkenny is due to our understanding of what local people want as well as our long- standing reputation as a retail and on course bookmaking name, say Chris Deery General Manager.

We hope as many customers as possible will come and see us at the former Joe Gallagher self-service
store and sample the state of the art facilities and to meet Yvonne and her team. Sean Graham’s opens at 10 am – 9.30 pm Monday – Friday; 9am – 9.30 pm Saturday and Sunday 11 am – 6.00 pm. We look forward to seeing you!
