AN investigation has been launched after 40 sheep were stolen from Glencolmcille.
The sheep, mainly ewes and some in lambing, were taken from a mountain area at Largybrack sometime between March 12 and April 2.
Gardaí are urging anyone with information to get in touch with them.

A garda spokesperson said: “We appeal to anybody who may have any information in relation to the theft of or current whereabouts of the sheep to contact Gardaí in Ballyshannon on (071) 9858530. The Garda Confidential line may be reached on 1800 666 111.”
