Over 800 customers are without power in Donegal tonight as parts of the county continue to feel the impact of heavy winds.
A status yellow wind warning remains in place and will be in effect until 6am on Friday morning.
On a day of dismal weather there has been thunder and lightning tonight in and around Letterkenny.
There were also power outages in different parts of Donegal throughout the day with service restored to customers in the Derrybeg area this evening where 138 customers were without power for a time.
Around 300 homes and businesses in the Dungloe area are tonight without power with over 400 impacted in Creeslough.
A fault in the Milford area has left 60 customers without supply.
The latest fault has been reported in Stranorlar where 14 customers have been hit by a power loss.
ESB crews are working to repair the outages and they hope to have power restored by later tonight.
