Over 400 customers are without power in the Creeslough and Dungloe areas tonight as parts of the county continue to feel the impact of heavy winds.
A status yellow wind warning remains in place and will be in effect until 6am on Friday morning.
On a day of dismal weather there has been thunder tonight in and around Letterkenny.

There were also power outages in different parts of Donegal throughout the day with service restored to customers in the Derrybeg area this evening where 138 customers were without power.
Around 150 homes and businesses in Dungloe are tonight without power with around 250 impacted in Creeslough.
ESB crews are working to repair the outages and they hope to have power restored by later tonight.
