1st Letterkenny Scout Group invites new members to join

Are you interested in scouting? 

Then you’re invited to get along on Friday, September 5 at 7pm to Alcorns, Letterkenny.

Did you know that the 1st Letterkenny Scout Group is one of the oldest scout groups in the world – founded in 1908.

After the AGM next Friday, registration will open for the 2025/2026 scouting year for beavers, cubs and scouts sections. 

Places are very limited and are dependent on how many leaders there are. Leaders for all sections are required with full training being provided.

Beavers are aged 6,7 and 8. You must be aged 6 on September 1.

Cubs are aged 9,10,11 and scouts are aged 12,13,14/15.

The 1st Letterkenny Scout Group is open to children from Letterkenny and surrounding areas including Newmills, Glenswilly, Gartan, Churchill,  Creeslough, Kilmacrennan, Ramelton, Rathmullan, Milford, Manorcunningham, Newtowncunningham, Convoy etc.

Children are not required to attend, as this is just the registration night.

The 1st Letterkenny meets on a Friday evening at 7pm.
