MANCHESTER City legend Paul Lake was in Donegal this week with a delegation from the club.
As part of a tour of Ireland, which also took in Limerick and Cookstown, Lake and his crew took 80 kids from Donegal for a coaching session on Wednesday at Finn Park, Ballybofey.
Children between the ages of six and sixteen attended the session conducted by Man City coaches.
City ambassador Lake later took part in an enjoyable questions and answers session in Bonner’s Corner Bar, Ballybofey, the headquarters of the Donegal branch of the Man City Supporters Club.
Lake presented Pat Bonner with a ‘Heart of the City’ plaque while City supporters and members of the public got the chance to have their photograph taken with the FA Cup – which the City crew brought with them to Donegal.
