Bernadette McIntyre, Ballyshannon

The death has occurred of Bernadette McIntyre, The Whitehill, The Abbey, Ballyshannon.

She died peacefully at Sligo University Hospital surrounded by her loving family.

Bernadette will be sadly missed by her brothers, John (Moira) and Eddie (Phyllis), her sisters, Marie Fitzpatrick and Kathleen McFadden, nieces, nephews and all her extended family and friends. 

Predeceased by her parents, John and Margaret, her brother, Danny and baby sister, Margaret, brothers-in-law, Paddy Fitzpatrick and Tom McFadden. 

Reposing at her late residence on Monday from 2pm to 8pm. Removal on Tuesday morning to St.Patrick’s Church, Ballyshannon for 11am funeral Mass, followed by private cremation in Lakelands Crematorium, Cavan.

Frank McGloin, Ballyshannon

The death has occurred of Frank McGloin, Sheegys, Ballyshannon.

He died peacefully at Ballyshannon Community Hospital surrounded by his loving family. 

Sadly missed by his wife, Kathleen, his children, Declan (Frances), Gerald (Gabrielle), Jennifer (Padraic), Andrew (Bernadette), Helen (Jon), Ciaran (Hilda), Rory (Lisa), Sarah (Philip) and Marie, his grandchildren and great-grandchildren; his brothers and sisters,

Madge (Michael, deceased),Charlie (Margaret), Kevin (Mary), Tony (Regina), Loretta (Tony), Noel (Ernest), Carmel (Frank), Oliver (Bernie), his nieces, nephews and all extended family and friends. 

Predeceased by his parents, Frank and Bridget, his brothers, Patrick and Brendan. 

Reposing at John McGee & Sons Funeral Home, Belleek Rd, Ballyshannon, F94ED21 on Monday from 4pm to 8pm and on Tuesday at his late residence from 2pm to 8pm. House private at all other times please. 

Removal on Wednesday morning to St.Patrick’s Church, Ballyshannon for 11am funeral Mass with burial afterwards in the Abbey Cemetery. 

Family flowers only please, donations in lieu if so desired to Ballyshannon Community Hospital Patient Comfort Fund ℅ John McGee & Sons Funeral Directors or any family member.

Nuala McCahill, Ranafast

The death has taken place in Dungloe Community Hospital of Nuala McCahill (née McGarvey), Ranafast.

Her remains will repose at her home on Monday from 1pm-8pm and on Tuesday from 11am-8pm.

Rosary each night at 8pm.

The house is private after the rosary and on the morning of the funeral.

Funeral Mass will take place on Wednesday, May 14, at 11am in St. Mary’s Star of the Sea Church, Annagry with interment afterwards in the new graveyard.

Basil McGill, Oranmore and Letterkenny

The death has taken place of Basil McGill, Tudor Vale, Oranmore and formerly of Letterkenny. 

Basil passed away peacefully on Friday at Galway University Hospital. 

Devoted husband to Elizabeth and the late Eileen. 

Deeply regretted by his loving wife Liz, daughters, Denise, Lisa, Ann and Laura, sons, Paul, John and Daniel, sons-in-law, grandchildren, sister, Carmel, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, relatives, neighbours and friends.  

Remains arriving at the Church of the Immaculate Conception, Oranmore on Monday, May 12 for his Funeral Mass at 10.30am followed by cremation in Shannon Crematorium. 

Mass will be broadcast on parish radio 105.3FM and can be viewed on parish website http://oranmoreparish.org/live/

 

Gunborg Benvick, Glenties 

The death has occurred on Thursday, May 8 of Gunborg Benvick in her 106th year. 

She passed away peacefully at her home surrounded by her family in Glenmacannive, Glenties. 

Sadly missed by her son, Sune, granddaughter, Louise (Anthony), grandson, Sven (Dorota), great-grandchildren, Patrick, Tony, Shaun, Karolina, Sara and Henrik, great-great-grandchildren, Sophie and Sarah-Jayne and her carer, Niamh. 

Family home private please at the request of the deceased.
